PROLETARIAT NEVER BECAME THE RULING CLASS IN RUSSIA :
After revolution in Russia, Lenin committed several mistakes. One was nationalization of total land in one stroke. It was neither possible to take control of the whole of the land at once, nor to use them at once for new mode of production. There is suggestion, in the Communist Manifesto, for gradual take over. This step of Lenin filled insecurity in the mind of farmers and their support could not be secured. Till then farmers lacked consciousness for socialism.
Another big mistake was to hold election of the constituent assembly and after election, dissolution of the same within two days of its sittings and thereafter in the period of Lenin, neither election was held again not any constitution was framed and the rule was carried out through decree instead of law. People’s participation in state matters never occurred. There, dictatorship was established not of the proletariat but of the communist party.
After the revolution, the first task before Lenin was to organize the proletariat/people and to make the proletariat the ruling class, only thereafter, establishing socialism should have begun and could have begun. But the reverse was done there. Due to absence of consciousness, its effect started growing adverse to the revolution. Full democracy, which would have been established due to the proletariat becoming the ruling class, which would have been more democratic than the bourgeois democracy, was never established in Russia. Proletariat never became the ruling class, that’s why socialism was never established there and there was no question of that kind of state system becoming sustainable.
The dictatorial system of Russia created fear in the mind of European people that after the socialist revolution, they will have to lose freedoms that they had already got; for which they were not ready. And the Russian revolution, instead of proving to be a signal for the world revolution, became a check-post for the world revolution. And communist parties world over, instead of taking lessons from those mistakes, remained praising and became victim of losing direction.

रूस में सर्वहारा कभी भी शासक वर्ग नहीं बना
रूस में क्रांति के बाद लेनिन ने कई गल्ति किए. एक था पूरे ज़मीन का एकबारगी राष्ट्रीयकरण. न तो एकबारगी पूरे ज़मीन को नियंत्रण में लेना संभव था और नाहीं उनका उपयोग एकबारगी नये ढंग के उत्पादन के लिए ही संभव था. कम्युनिस्ट मैनिफेस्टो में सूझाव भी है धीरे-धीरे राष्ट्रीयकरण का. लेनिन के इस कदम से किसानों में असुरक्षा का भाव घर कर गया और उन्हें उनका समर्थन नहीं प्राप्त हुआ. किसानों में तब तक समाजवाद के लिए जागरूकता की कमी थी.
एक और बड़ी गल्ति थी संविधान सभा का चुनाव कराना और चुनाव के बाद बैठक शुरू होने के बाद दो दिनों में ही संविधान सभा को भंग कर देना और फिर पूरे लेनिन काल में कभी न तो चुनाव कराया गया और न कोई संविधान बना और शासन क़ानून की जगह डिक्री के माध्यम से चलाया गया. शासन में लोगों की भागीदारी नहीं बनी. वहाँ तानाशाही सर्वहारा की नहीं बनी बल्कि कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी की बनी.
क्रांति के बाद लेनिन का पहला कार्य-भार था सर्वहारा/लोगों को संगठित कर सर्वहारा को शासक वर्ग बनाना. उसके बाद ही समाजवाद का निर्माण शुरू करना था और किया जा सकता था. बल्कि वहाँ उल्टा किया गया. जागरूकता के अभाव में उसका असर क्रांति के खिलाफ बनता गया. और सर्वहारा वर्ग के शासक वर्ग बनने से जो पूर्ण जनवाद बनता, जो निश्चित रूप से बुर्जुआ लोकतंत्र से ज़्यादा लोकतांत्रिक होता, रूस में कभी नहीं बन सका. सर्वहारा कभी भी शासक वर्ग नहीं बना, इसलिए वहाँ कभी भी समाजवाद का निर्माण नहीं हो सका और वैसी व्यवस्था के स्थायी होने का प्रश्न ही नहीं था.
रूस की उस तानाशाही व्यवस्था का यूरोप के लोगों पर यह असर हुआ कि वह भयभीत हो गये कि जो स्वतंत्रता उन्हे प्राप्त था, वह उन्हे समाजवादी क्रांति के बाद खोना पड़ेगा, जिसके लिए वह तैयार नहीं थे. और रूस की क्रांति विश्व क्रांति का संकेत साबित होने के बदले विश्व क्रांति का चेक-पोस्ट बन गया. और विश्व भर में तमाम कम्युनिस्ट पार्टियाँ, बजाय उन गल्तियों से सबक लेने के बजाय गुणगान करते रहे और दिशाहीनता के शिकार हो गये.
